In the beginning I really did not have my drawing down, (I still don't.) Many readers thought this was a bad drawing of a horse. It is really a bad drawing of a dog. Multi-panel cartoons soon became too much of a obstacle. I had to be very consistent with my characters and their look. Also, this was an untitled entry, which makes it a rarity.

I like Cats

The very first attempt at a comic. When you look back at how crude the drawings were, it even makes me cringe. I was trying to define the main character. I did not want this to be a "sweet" hero, so I immediately showed the dark side of Spike, and I guess myself. Yes, that is supposed to be a cat.
